Cherry Orchard Pinot Noir 2023
£3013% VOL / 75CLMade 100% from estate grown pinot noir. It is distinctive for its medium garnet appearance. The wine enjoys a depth of intense red cherries, plum, cocoa, toasted vanilla and hints of tobacco leaf on the nose. Of medium body, medium acidity, there is a lovely balance of black cherry and chocolate cake on the palate with hints of vanilla on the fringe and a delightful long fruit driven finish.

| Vinification | Partially destemmed with 20% whole bunch pressing. Cold soaked for 72 hours before inoculation with a Pinot Noir specific yeast and fermented in open top fermenters with twice daily punch downs. 11 days of maceration in total. |
| Fermentation & Ageing | Malolactic fermentation in barrel and settled and racked for 9 months in French oak barriques of which 20% new & 80% seasoned. Light egg white fining before racking in May 2024. Bottled July 2024. |
